This is my weekly(ish) post about people doing cool stuff, resources I am enjoying, music I am into, or just random stuff happening in my life. Here is this week's edition of #FourFridayFavorites.
- Snapchat has slowly creeped up as my favorite social channel. I love getting to take a peek into the lives of people I know and see what fills their day. As for me, I like sharing insights from people I interact with throughout the day in a piece I call #ThoughtOfTheDay, samplings of the music I am currently listening to, and overall, the random shenanigans I seem to find myself in. Follow me HERE or by adding me with my username: jakedudley1.
- I'm currently finishing up a book called "Leadership and Self-Deception" and it's most likely my new favorite book on leadership. The lessons are shared as a fictional story about a new executive in a big-time company who is struggling to connect with his team because of a problem he and everyone else at the company has. It's fascinating. Because I love it so much, I'm going to give away a copy of the book on Twitter (I'm not getting paid to do this, btw) sometime today so be on the lookout for that.
- This is actually a couple of weeks old, but Jeremy Cowart's latest endeavor is inspiring people all over the world. If you haven't seen his video "I'm possible" yet, do yourself a favor, set aside 25 minutes, and watch it right now.
- I'm getting married 3 weeks from tomorrow (22 days) and I could not be more excited! If you're interested at all in taking a peek at our wedding website, you can do that at jakeandrebeccadudley.com...feel free to make any donations to our wedding registry. ;)
What are some cool things you're a part of or interested in this week? Comment with a link and I'll be sure to check it out.
